By accessing and using the Galing Gentri Portal, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the portal.
2. Purpose of the Portal
The portal is designed to facilitate the nomination of schools and individuals for recognition under the DepEd Rewards and Recognition (R&R) program. It serves as a platform for submitting, reviewing, and managing nominations in a fair and transparent manner.
3. Eligibility
- Nominators: Only authorized personnel (teachers, school heads, division staff, or designated nominators) may submit nominations.
- Nominees: Eligible nominees include public school teachers, school heads, non-teaching personnel, and institutions as defined by DepEd guidelines.
- Verification: All nominations are subject to validation by the designated evaluation committee.
4. User Responsibilities
Users must:
- Provide accurate and truthful information in nomination forms.
- Upload only relevant and authentic supporting documents.
- Respect the confidentiality of nominee data.
- Avoid misuse of the portal for fraudulent or malicious purposes.
5. Data Privacy
Personal information collected through the portal will be processed in accordance with the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173). Data will only be used for nomination, evaluation, and recognition purposes. Users consent to the storage and processing of submitted information by DepEd and authorized committees.
6. Evaluation and Recognition
Nominations will be assessed based on DepEd R&R rubrics and criteria. The evaluation committee reserves the right to accept, reject, or disqualify nominations that do not meet requirements. Decisions of the committee are final and binding.
7. Intellectual Property
All content, forms, and materials within the portal are the property of DepEd / Galing Gentri Portal. Unauthorized reproduction, distribution, or modification of portal content is prohibited.
8. Limitation of Liability
The portal administrators are not liable for:
- Technical issues, downtime, or data loss due to system errors.
- Misuse of the portal by users.
- Any indirect damages arising from the use of the portal.
9. Amendments
DepEd reserves the right to update or amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Users will be notified of significant changes through the portal.
